I removed the post that was here because someone helped me to realize that it was mean ad not constructive in any way, anyone was hurt by the words it contained has my apology.

Republicans are insane.
They go on about how much safer their president has made the world and yet there are right now more police and soldiers and FBI men and secret service guarding New York than ever. hmmm safer?
They call John Kerry a flip flopper because he would have a position on a subject based on the lies the republicans tell him and then upon finding out the truth he changes position hmmm flip flop?
Then after bashing changes of opinions they have a democrat as their keynote .I guess it is OK to flop if it is in their favor . And Zell Miller is completely insane from the keynote speech he gave you would think John Kerry had raped Zell's mother he hates Kerry ,the candidate of his own party. If your look back a few years he said great things about Kerry, did they have a spat? He also slammed him for wanting to get rid of overpriced military hardware the same hardware that DIck Cheney also wanted to get rid of. Nothing like a little half truth . Then after the speech that he yelled and spit at everyone he got so mad at Chris Matthews ,who when asked him what he was so mad about stated he wasn't mad ,then said he wished they could have a duel. This covers all those people who come to your selling stuff like magazine subscriptions. Just yesterday some kid comes up and says he needs to collect "personality points" and I can help him get some by purchasing magazine subscriptions. This really isn't new they have been around for a while the game just getting lamer and lamer . I bought some from a girl a few years ago and I think I got put on the list or something because everyone comes to my house. The worst is those steak truck guys who always say "hey buddy I am at the end of my route and I have some steaks left and I can hook you up with a deal on some meat. This must be part of the training because they all say the exact same thing. I only bought the magazine subscription from the girl a few years back because she just came to the door and said "hey man I am selling magazine subscriptions .I am supposed to hit you with this lame story and be all perky but I really just have to sell some inn order to make any money." When I asked her why she didn't mention the Awesome trip she could win or something she said she didn't really expect to get any trip she was just trying to make some money. I wonder when salespeople will drop the lame gimmicks and just get honest it works much better on me .

I just looked at the ad at the top of this blog (it may have changed now) and see that the robot looking at my text to look for words that would give an idea of what you as readers would be interested in isnt too smart. I write en entry slamming hummers and they try to give you a good deal on a Chevy Tahoe . Niiiiice Remember I dont pick the ads in the banner.

I have thought there was something just wrong and stupid about the Hummer H2 since I first saw one. I always thought the people were just lame asses who were too wimpy for a real Hummer (which no none really needs unless you live waaaaaaaaay out in the tundra or something) now I am happy to find out that plenty of people agree with me .Here are some other reasons why.
The H2 is the ultimate poseur vehicle. It has the chassis of a Chevy Tahoe and a body that looks like the original Hummer; i.e. it's a Chevy Tahoe in disguise.
The H2 is a gas guzzler. Because it has a gross vehicle weight rating over 8500 lbs, the US government does not require it to meet federal fuel efficiency regulations. Hummer isn't even required to publish its fuel economy (owners indicate that they get around 10 mpg for normal use).
The H2 is a tax loophole. Under Bush's new tax plan, business owners can deduct the entire cost of their $55,000 H2. If you are in the highest tax bracket, that's a tax savings of nearly $20,000! The government rewards you more savings for buying an H2 than you'd get for buying an electric car.
These among other reasons are proof that the hummer has replaces the corvette as the ultimate accessory for the over compensating type. GM should have 24inch spreewell spinners as an option being as the real reason to own an H2 is to front not to drive through the woods in the mud

I just finally moved into the modern world of communication, getting a cellphone. The thing is I hate the phone in generally I seldom answer the one at home and my wife makes fun of my short cryptic conversation with people who call me that have few words and no real exit but a hang up. The real reason I wanted a Cell other than to eliminate the regular phone bill was to make a Photo Blog so check it out ,the link is on the right I will work out a swell graphic button later on.

I am always bitching about how my freedoms are infinged upon when i get told by the city to clean up behind my garage or that my grass is too tall ,after reading this guy's story I feel a little petty .Dont get me wrong i still believe that any violation of our rights is important no matter how small have a read of this story and you will hopefully be energised to fight against the patriot act and the horrible Bush administration. President Bush apparently has found that a lot of Americans think he is insane and wants to add to his constituency by proving that everyone else is too, with the additional perk of lining the pockets of his pals at Eli Lilly. They do deserve it after all they did give 1.6 m in political contributions, most of which went to the republican party and the Bush campaign. The plan is to screen the entire US population for mental illness and lots of people full of expensive drugs most happily manufactured by Eli Lilly. Bush's commission has recommended that the federal government adopt a model based on the Texas Medication Algorithm Project (TMAP) a medication treatment plan that recommends Zyprexa as a first line antipsychotic drug for patients. Bush was governor of Texas when the plan was adopted, and Zyprexa coincidentally happens to be made Eli Lilly.Zyprexa is the drug company's top seller, grossing $4.28 billion dollars last year.

Am I the only person who noticed how George's facial expressions give away an attitude that says everyone other than me is an idiot ? It seems like when asked a question his smirk says man, you really are stupid .It is alot like those snotty girls in high school do when someone below them tries to talk to them. The things our soldiers did were far less severe than most of the things done by others in the past however as I have said before others participating in abuse and or torture are not spouting a holier than thou ethic that we as americans do.
Would you want to trade places with those prisoners or see one of your loves ones in their place. I am all for defending freedom. I am all for bringing terrorists to justice but do you think saddam is naked standing on a box I doubt it. Not so long ago he was our buddy when we needed him to fight for us against Iran .You never see the real evil people suffering just the people who follow their orders. What ever happened to Ossama Bin Laden? It seems that people seem to be confused, Iraq did not attack the US ,Al Queda did we just dont know how to get back at a terrorist group.

In response to what do I do . I dont anonymously post on weblogs I stand behind what I say . I also work for much less than deserved in non profit arena for more than 10 years with youth who are victims of the worst of society in an attempt to show the most at risk of doing damage to society or being a drain on us by spending life in prison .I am also an active supporter and member of the ACLU and EFFas well as others. Talking to people is the core of change if everyone spent more time openly talking to each other maybe we wouldn't be at the point we are now.

Torture

Torture is wrong with regards to anyone terrorists,soldiers,civilians,rats,mice,monkeys whatever. There really is no excuse. When we teach little children to stomp on ants for no reason other than they are ants is an example of the core problem with people . We have a disregard for life as part of out nature. When we confront this openly and stop this mindset we will be on a path to a better world overall.

It is absolutely a fact that Saddam Hussein is evil and Iraq and the rest of the world is better off now that he is no longer in power. The same can be said about GW however. The thing most people fail to see is that the key to our government getting away with so many things both at home and abroad is subtlety .We are just better at hiding our dirty secrets. There is no doubt that Iraq was and is a problem it just seems that the current administration is obsessed with just Iraq . Saddam and his regime said over and over we have no weapons of mass destruction yet we went and attacked anyway .North Korea said we are making weapons of mass destruction (nuclear and fuck you try and stop us and what do we do ,look for a diplomatic solution .What the fuck is that now GW wants to work on getting a nuclear arms program up and running again .If GW had said to the people , Saddam Hussein is evil and I want to go finish what my father started and I want their oil for us and I am going to go attack them I think the people would have appreciated the honesty. I think everyone agrees that Iraq needed to be addressed but using another terrorist attack as a springboard was wrong.

Admittedly other countries do much worse things than what we have been caught doing and I have no sympathy for terrorists however, they are terrorists, and admit to doing horrible things we as a country go around the world espousing that we are better than that .Then there is the fact that some of the prisoners were not terrorists but journalists. The sooner we americans get over ourselves the better we will be.

How can the US ever expect the world to see us as liberating a people from tyrannical rule when the things we do are equal to if not worse than those done by the tyrant.
